Cork Street

There were so many galleries down Cork street (after our visit to Dover Street Market), and everyone was surprisingly nice, Granit and I got a lot of pictures and leaflets to take away. It was very inspiring. One employee from Messum’s Gallery explained that he was flattered that we were recommended to visit Cork Street, and explained that there used to be many more galleries in the past.

My favourite gallery would have to be the Bernard Jacobson Gallery with the Japanese newspaper work by Kwang Young Chun. It was amazing! Each piece of art is intricately detailed and the 3D effect brings them to life. I love the use of colour as well, it’s tasteful and gives each piece a slight uniqueness. It comes out of the wall at you so fiercely as well.
